MODELO DE FORMACIÓN

INICIAL DOCENTE PUCV

Los programas de formación inicial de profesores de la PUCV se fundamentan
en la misión institucional y en una visión antropológica cristiana, en donde
el educador es responsable de promover el desarrollo integral de todos los

estudiantes como partícipes de una sociedad democrática, potenciando la
formación de la persona humana en su dignidad.

A través de los programas de formación inicial de profesores, la universidad
asume la tarea de preparar profesores que promuevan el aprendizaje de
todos sus estudiantes y contribuyan al desarrollo de la comunidad escolar,
desde su vocación de servicio. Para esto, se compromete activamente a la
generación de nuevas y mejores prácticas de formación docente, que sean
sensibles a los desafíos a nivel nacional e internacional.

PUCV TEACHER INITIAL TRAINING MODEL

The PUCV Initial Teacher Training Programmes are grounded in its institutional Mission
and in a Christian Anthropological Vision, whereby the educator is responsible for
facilitating the full development of all students as participants in a democratic society
and for fostering the realization of the person as a dignified human being.

On account of the teacher initial training programmes, the University undertakes the
responsibility to prepare teachers that promote learning in all their students and that
contribute to the development of the school community from their service vocation. To
this purpose, it becomes actively involved in the generation of new and better teacher
education practices that will be sensitive to national and international challenges.
